Our proposal revolves around the intangible heritage that represents
the perception that the inhabitants
of five small
villages of Teruel have of their
landscape threatened by the impact
of the massification
of renewables and open-pit clay mining.
A perception that is traced in traditional
uses and in the almost desperate defense actions of its territory.
We hope to live up to this
call of the
EHD that seeks to convey the
importance for citizens of a heritage
that is intended
to remain ALIVE to transfer it as a legacy to those
who continue to live in this area
in the coming decades. All this
with the firm belief in the values transmitted
by both the
Faro Convention (Framework Convention
on the Value
of Cultural Heritage for Society) and the Florence Convention (European Landscape Convention). In fact, one of the
bulletins published by the Cazarabet Project is entitled precisely
"f a r o" as a tribute to the initiative of the Council of Europe. Here you can read the

5. Final meeting to evaluate the actions carried out
6. Signing of the Declaration of Valdefortún, on the value of landscape and heritage for society
7. Preparation of a report on the event for the state and European coordinating bodies of the EHD 2023

Notre proposition s'articule autour du patrimoine immatériel qui représente la perception que les habitants de cinq petits villages
de Teruel ont de leur paysage menacé par l'impact de la massification des énergies renouvelables et de l'exploitation de l'argile à ciel ouvert. Une perception qui se retrouve dans les usages traditionnels et dans les actions de défense presque désespérées de son territoire. Nous espérons être à la hauteur de cet appel du JEP qui cherche à transmettre l'importance pour les citoyens d'un patrimoine destiné à rester VIVANT pour le transférer en héritage à ceux qui continueront à vivre dans cette
région dans les décennies à venir. Tout cela avec la ferme croyance
dans les valeurs transmises à la fois par la Convention de Faro (Convention-cadre sur la valeur du
patrimoine culturel pour la société) et la Convention de Florence (Convention
européenne du paysage). En effet, l'un des bulletins publiés par le Projet Cazarabet s'intitule précisément « f a r o » en hommage
à l'initiative du Conseil
